How to Create an Instagram Business Account
An Instagram business account lets your community share photos, tours, and updates with prospects. It also gives you profile tools that a personal account doesn't have: contact buttons, post and audience insights, and the option to run ads.
Don't have an instagram account yet? Start here:
- Download Instagram on your computer or phone https://www.instagram.com/
- Create an account with either your Business Number or Email
- Fill in the information for your profile
- If you hit Edit, You can then add a Description and Bio after creating your account
- After you fill in all the boxes, hit Done
Have an account that needs to be transferred to a business account?
- Login to your account and hit Edit Profile
- Select Switch To Professional Account
- Hit Continue
- Choose a category that best describes your business and hit Continue
- Hit OK to continue
- Choose between Business or Creator
- Hit Next
- After these steps, you can either include your contacts or you can skip this part by hitting, Don’t Use My Contact Info
- Hit Complete Signup
